GRIZZLIES PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

CHARACTER
We believe character is just as important as skill on the field. Our players are expected to compete with integrity, show respect for teammates, coaches, officials, and opponents, and represent the Grizzlies with pride. We emphasize accountability, resilience, and a team-first mindset - teaching our athletes to handle both success and adversity the right way. Our goal is to develop not only better lacrosse players, but young men of high character who lead by example on and off the field.

INTEGRITY
Integrity in our program is non-negotiable. We demand that our players hold themselves to a higher standard at all times - no shortcuts, no excuses, no cutting corners. Doing the right thing isn’t situational; it’s expected in every rep, every game, and every interaction. We compete hard, but we compete the right way - owning our mistakes, being accountable to our teammates, and earning everything we get. Players who embrace this standard build trust, toughness, and a reputation that carries far beyond the field.

DISCIPLINE
Discipline is what separates average players from serious competitors. In our program, it shows up in how you prepare, how you practice, and how you respond when things get hard. We expect our players to be on time, locked in, and consistent in their effort - every rep, every drill, every game. There is no coasting and no entitlement; everything is earned through work and focus. Discipline means doing the details right when no one is watching, pushing through fatigue, and holding yourself to the standard every single day.
